CCI was engaged to deliver Icon’s first Cancer treatment facility in New Zealand, in partnership with Acurity Health Group. This is also Wellingtons first private oncology facility.
Taking place over two stages, the first stage involved the fitout of an Oncology clinic, which contained: A CAT scanner consultant rooms; staff facilities; bathroom and change facilities; a nurse base; and chemotherapy treatment areas.
The second phase saw CCI construct a Radiation Oncology facility. Icon’s Australian building partner constructed the concrete shell for the new building and CCI completed the balance of the works, which involved: construction of a link building; refurbishment of an existing area of the hospital; installation of a CT scanner; Linac radiotherapy suite and ancillary consulting rooms; staff facilities; and bathrooms.
