This project involved the full strip out of a two story, 1600m2 administration block.
During the demolition works asbestos was discovered in ceiling and floor finishes. This required the isolation of areas and the reprogramming of the works, to ensure the overall project was not delayed.
Extensive changes were made to the IT and AV services throughout the project to suit stakeholder requirements. At times this involved changes to walls that already had previously been completed. CCI was well enough prepared to complete this additional works, without causing undue delay or added stress.
The refurbishment of the building involved installing a new kitchen, upgrading the bathrooms, and significantly improving the mechanical, lighting and IT systems.
The job also included extensive construction works to build new offices and a new meeting space, complete with an operable wall to provide more flexibility.
Exterior aluminium joinery was also upgraded to replace aged joinery.
This project represented CCI’s ability to complete works under tight programme and budgetary constraints.
